UPDATE 7: Received my new 120gb Slim PS3 and it works flawlessly
UPDATE 6: Console YLOD'd for good last week. I'm sending it to sony and exchanging it for a Slim. be back soon.
Update 5: Hair dryer trick number 3 worked and i got my Fallout 3 out of the console.
Update 4: Did the hair dryer trick for a 2nd time and the PS3 worked flawlessly for just shy of two weeks. I got the YLOD for the 3rd time at 3am while i was playing The Uncharted 2 Campaign Demo. Near the beginning of the demo where you climb up the light post it froze and shut down after reboot i got the YLOD, Trying the hair dryer trick for the 3rd time because my Fallout 3 is in the console. I will Update soon
Update 3: Possibly getting my console fixed in the next few weeks, Debating on whether or not to exchange it with Sony for a slim for $140
Update 2: The "hair dryer" technique only lasted half a day, I turned off my console after playing modern warfare 2 and they YLOD Returned. I'm going to have to get the console repaired. So i suppose i'll see you guys in a few months.

( it's much like Xbox 360's towel trick, and it to came back to life! FOR NOW, I backed up all my Saves,Pictures,some music,and all my video's. I don't know how long it will last, Maybe a hour,day,month or a year there's no telling. So if i don't log into the PSN for more then 24 hours you will know it died again.
This morning i turned on my PlayStation 3, Walked out of my room for about 5 minutes and returned, There i noticed my TV was off which i found odd (it has a auto off timer if its left on a blank screen). I looked down at my PS3 and noticed the Red light was blinking , At first i didn't suspect it was a big issue so i went to go press the power button to turn it back on, Then i was greeted by the Yellow Light of Death or more commonly abbreviated (YLOD), I then remembered i was playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 the previous night and i tried to eject the game and to no avail it would NOT EJECT! I immediately contacted Sony and they told me there was no troubleshooting steps for this issue and it Had to be sent in for repairs They said without a warranty it would cost $149.99 to Repair the console and another 25$ i believe for shipping. Then they asked if i wanted to send it in and exchange it for a PS3 Slim model for only $149.99 ( THE 60GB PS3 WAS $599.99! )
They also told me there was no way to get my game out unless i send it in and get it repaired as they put it (unless of course you try different methods by yourself which would void the warranty and therefore we cannot fix your console)
Then i started thinking about all my Game Saves,Music,Videos,Pictures,Shared and bought PSN games i read that sony formats the HDD before returning the console.

I will return as soon as possible, Although i cannot say how long my absence is going to be, Please Don't Delete me from your friends list. I'm going to try my best to save up the money to get it repaired soon. Take care my friends and God Bless,
