A gentle correction: This song was performed by all 4 Marx Brothers - Zeppo, Chico, Harpo, and Groucho - each of whom sang a separate verse, in "Horsefeathers," as each tries to woo college widow Connie Bailey, played by Thelma Todd. The song was actually written by Songwriters Hall of Fame members Bert Kalmar (1884-1947) and Harry Ruby (1895-1974). Among their other hits were “Who’s Sorry Now?”, “Thinking of You”, “Up in the Clouds”, and “I Wanna Be Loved by You."
