ElectionWIRE's reporter Joel Philp ventures from his native South Australia to a remote island in Queensland. Why? To party and interview a self made millionaire called "Aussie Rob". Rich people often have a grand vision for this country and this man is no different. They want other millionaires in power. But does it make sense to treat the country like a big company, with something that resembles a CEO at the top?

  • this guys brain is only focused on money and profits.these sorts of attitudes towards running a country are very very dangerous!!!

  • This is crap only on the grounds that some of us don't constantly think 'money money money money money'

  • @dasicknt No, but his girlfriend is

  • @ex1le444 Do you believe that angry rants on YouTube is a novelty? It makes you look like a child, and it's terribly unorgiginal. If you aren't capable of rational discourse, keep out of politcs--else, you make your own side look worse. I hope you grow up to recognise the irrationality of calling people who support individual liberty "neocons."

  • How about Millionaires stick to what they do best and leave who runs the Country up to the rest of us.

  • @ErikNikolai I'm not the pathetic neo-con nutter trying to spout his stupid, ignorant, hypocritical ideas to 3 people on Youtube, because nobody else will listen.

That honor belongs to you! Welcome to the out there margins of the nutter, where you belong asshat.

  • Ok... let's take this back to the most simple basics that everyone can understand:

From 1991 to 2008, Australia had 17 years of uninterrupted, sustained growth, averaging 3.5% pa. When you have sustained (as opposed to exponential) economic growth, all the other aspects of the economy more or less improve! For the vast majority of those years, Australia was under a liberal government. Interpret that how you will.

  • "i dont know what bloody electorate were in" true aussie haha
