  • @hudsonkoa With all due respect, Vitter opened the door as he tried to portray himself as a champion of Christian morality.

  • who cares about, that investigation, its his private life. just legalize prostitution, focus on real crimes

  • Charlie is a hypocrite too, not for sleaze like Vitter but for being a traitor to his party, he is a republican skunk in the democrat hen house and THAT is why he lost.

Betraying the voters over and over is a much more serious sin in politics than diddling hookers.

  • Louisiana's once and future senator because, pathetically, this clown is ahead in the polls. "One of these days, the people of Louisiana are gonna get good government--and they ain't gonna like it!" Earl Long.

  • Republicans are all freakin hypocrites. The diaper man.

  • @particle409 Maybe so but when you have to open that door at all it comes off as desperate. That's all I'm saying. Why wouldn't you use your ad space for your superior platform if you have one? It looks like he doesn't.

  • @numberoneposer Wow now an ad hominem attack on me! lol. You have no clue how many democrats I have or haven't voted for. Tell me how it would change the substance of my point if I were Adolf Hitler? We as voters hire our representatives to do a job. If I'm deciding between two plumbers and one plumber says "hey it looks like you have blockage due to an improperly installed pipe right here" and the other plumber says "Oh yeah the first plumber doesn't tip at restaurants." I vote for the former

  • @hudsonkoa LOL.... I'm sure that would be your reaction if Vitter were a democrat, right? By the way: Ad hominem is legitimate in cases where a person's character is at question. Seeing as Vitter puts himself as a family man and a Christian, doesn't his repeated behavior concern you at all, or are you only interested in rooting for your team, no matter what the players do?

  • I take these ad hominem attacks as a concession on the issues; Mr. Melancon, is this you formally dropping out?
