This is a VERY Rare car! even the VOLVO Enthusists dont even know this was made. Most all 262 coupe's were Bertone cars but for the forst 2 years the made the Regular NON chop tops. The retail the far cooler more classic looking taillights from the 164E i believe and that classic VOVLO grill this 262GLT car is the way to go if you looking for this car you WILL NOT find a cleaner lower mile one ANYWHERE. Make sure and check out my other videos I always have lots of Neat Unique and Interesting Classic EURO and Muscle cars and i sell them Cheap. • This is indeed a very rare car! Only about 3000 were made. Over 6000 262C Bertones were made. I didn't even know the 262 existed before I saw your video.

It's fantastic to see such clean and rust free old cars. I hope to be able to import a w123 mercedes some day. But the old Volvos are very nice too.

  • @torivar Thank You for the Comment and info. How did you know 3000 made? just wondering.. i cant find all that much since even the hardcore enthusist dont know this car was made. and to be quite honest with you i actually like it better than the Bertone... anyways Thanks again.. I a NOT a VOLVO fan but the rare, odd and Unique ones do get me going if rust free and clean. I am Mercedes guy through and through & do quite a few W123 cars call anytime your ready...;-) Cheers Nathan 406 544 6919

  • Are you sure it has a V6 engine? Most Volvos of this vintage were sold with inline 4 engine. I'll believe it's a V6 when I see it. It's still a very nice looking car. Volvos of this vintage are awesome cars. I'd buy one myself if one were available.

  • @Seattlecarnut Yes the 262 & 264 VOLVO cars were PRV just like @datboiwes said. Yea i was not too keen on VOLVO at all till the last 2 yrs allthough alot to learn i zeroed in on the Big motors as fast as possible.. The little 4 cyl just dont cut it for me... ;-) Cheers

  • @meccaturbo all my 240volvos 4 cylinder engines have been trash blown heads, fuel delievery issues one after another

  • the 262 is a nice rare volvo, but i wish volvo had made an inline six version of their 2.3 liter 4 for the 260 series. the prv motor isnt my favorite

  • you should do some shows where you talk about your favorite cars and maybe take questions from us youtube users

  • A surviving B27? That's much more of a miracle than the miles for the year. Those things like to eat cams unless you use thin, high-detergent oil and change it every 1500-2000 miles.

  • @CerealMarshmallows I googled "Volvo 262" and got a British wbsite. It's also briefly mentioned in the Norwegian Wikipedia Volvo-section The 260 series were dreamcars when I grew up. Here in Europe we had basic 240's with small engines and the nice US version 262/262C/264 were, and still are, very cool cars. And the 164 was also a true dreamcar. The US had them until 1975 and I've seen a couple of those recently imported to Norway.

  • Another PRV variant! My friend has this engine in his Delorean.

  • @CerealMarshmallows Even though, Volvo didn't built the V6, Renault in France actually built them as all I heard.

  • @CerealMarshmallows Can you get the radio changed for a CD player radio?
