I can tell you exactly what that is... It is the end result of not following proper procedure. When a load of meat is taken off the grill it is supposed to be scraped to remove any remaining meat from the last batch and make it clear for the next batch of meat. They just didnt scrape the grill down and a piece of overcooked meat that was stuck to the grill got fused to the new 10:1 patty that they dropped... I see that every now and then at my store... (I'm a shift manager at mcd's)
