Come As You Are Drum Cover (Nirvana)

My Second ever drum cover! Actually a lot more difficult than I thought, hence the mistakes. I think I am slowly improving as the weeks go by - i'm going to invest in some proper lessons after Christmas. Pleased with my drum and cymbal sound though. The cymbals are as follows: 20" Saluda Mist X Crash/ride, 17" Zildjian A-costom medium Crash, Saluda Mist X 14" Rock hats and....a Paiste 101 16" Crash!! I do have a saluda 16" Earthworks dark Rock Crash but I was too scared to use it on this song in case I wrecked it as the song has a lot of crash riding in it. The Drums are a Mapex VX Kit with Remo Emperor Heads.

if you are worried about cracking cymbals when crashing on them don't just hit straight ahead and dig the stick in the cymbal hit it with a curve by flicking your wrist to the right or left when hitting it

Alot of what you play on the ride cymbal is actually on the high hat, still nice kepp playing =p

If your afraid of it cracking the cymbal, you could hit the cymbal at an angle instead of hitting it straight ahead. Also let the stick bounce of the cymbal instead of driving it in. If you do this it shouldn't crack.

sounded great, i dunno if im right but the top right drum didnt sound right for the song but...it might be...i know nothing about drums lol :( well done.
