Life on the road is always a struggle. If the traveling man is not stressed from the situation, chances are someone else is feeling the pain. I watched for years as my mother struggled with my father being gone. Now on the other end of the coin I understand why my father went out on the road to deliver goods. I love them both and want them both to know they did a great job.

I could only hope to do half as well as they did. Living in the same exact situation taking the roll of my father I can see why he had to go. And I can feel the pain deeply caused to my family from being gone on the road. I have been in this situation from birth to fatherhood and have seen what both sides look like, which is quite a unique position.

Drivers please, don't forget to put yourself in their shoes. Realize the pain of you being absent. Trust me it is very painful for them. Love them every chance you get.

Safe journey's

  • Hey Steve bro, even though i am not a trucker, but i have a whole lot of respect for them .This the first time i came across your videos,i found them very interesting and informative.I watched about six of them today.I will watch more when i come back from work.(i drive cab in newyork city).

  • If you flip hamburgers you at least get regular working hours, that means homecooked meals and sleep at night. If you don't want the McJob, you probably could be a local delivery-man working for DHL.

  • Thats my biggest worry about going over the road. I'm Waiting on a trucking company to get back with me

  • Dude who sings the 1st song on your video.

I am a new driver to the trucking industry , and greatly appreciate all the video's and solid info you provide.

    Thank You.

  • @mrwhite4, fuck... you... How about you grow some respect for us, we run everything, we run the economy. Think about that next time you dig in for dinner.

  • Hey Steve, I was there once. Didn't work out. Moved on. I got a second chance. We are here for a good time not a long time. I've got the most wonderful, caring, understanding wife. Without her I wouldn't be doing what I do best. I own and operate my own rig. As hard as it is I really love Truckin. It's all I know....... 10/10 good buddy.
