  • hey steelo! Do you clean the whole Julian's Thing after each use? What part gets dirty after each use?

  • @calbileo The part that gets dirty the most is of course the see through clear end tips. I use hot water to rinse it after each use. That's about all I do to keep it clean. Good luck.

  • @newyorksteelo does water ever reach the syringe of Julian's Thing? the black pipe? the black holding stick?

And does FOOD ever reach the syringe of Julian's Thing? the black pipe? the black stick holding stick?

  • @calbileo Yes of course water enters the syringe, I mean planktonic liquid is what is supposed to be sucked into it, but if you meant into the grey PVC tubing, the answer is yes also, but only if you hold it upright while the tip is full. Larger food are somewhat prevented from entering the grey PVC due to a small plastic one way cap that wont allow the food past into the grey PVC pipe. You should rinse the grey PVC as well after each use just in case. Good luck.

  • @newyorksteelo alright alright just making sure thanks

  • @calbileo When you get it, if you do get it. Read the instructions and it will all make sense to you =)

  • @chaoswarrior It needs to be refrigerated after opening the bottle. Can feed both types of corals but LPS require meatier foods. I have a video on how to feed Anemones and LPS corals. BTW, Coral Frenzy is so much better and less expensive too. Good luck.

  • Does one need to keep that marinesnow bottle in the fridge right after it is purchased or after it is opened? I heard it can be stored outside a fridge as long as it is not opened. Also, is that marinesnow good to feed both sps and lps? I only have lps at the moment but want to get some sps soon.

  • @TheClayboys Bingo! Glad to hear it.

  • @newyorksteelo Got home and completely took the skimmer apart, turns out the air intake was clogged with salt creep. Cleaned it out along with the whole skimmer and its working like magic now.
