A flash back of Einstein and his love for music and the intersection of physics and music in his life.
Mozart and Bach were his favorite composers, so I chose two pieces he liked to go with this video; Mozart's Quartet in G major, K.156 - I. Presto, and Bach's Concerto in D Minor for Two Violins - Vivace.

  • this video is priceless

  • waite a minute, why you cut the first thread "became both magical .... AND WHAT!!!!????

  • i can't seem to fathom einstein's enigmatic mind, i love classical music, but i appreciate the fact that i don't visualize anywhere near his'

  • @ystephanshrem your almost as smart as einstein, frend. thats tru music is very importent for the humans behavor.

  • @MrFaulconbridge Feeling mystical and having one's imagination go wild are both natural processes, no different from logical thinking. Just different behaviors of the same brain. The difference is that logical thinking can EXPLAIN mystical thinking, while mystical thinking is, by definition, ignorance. Mystical thinkers hate hearing explanations for things purely because they want to be free to MAKE UP explanations and feel smart without having to actually be right.

  • @taicleis but music can "Feel mystical" to people. Stop being so naturalistic all the time and let people go wild with their imagination.

  • It's nothing mystical. The role music played is completely natural and scientific:

Music fires up activity in the right side of your brain, which governs creative and abstract thought - great for problem solving. That's all.

  • Music is harmony, music is genius, music is one of the greatest gifts mankind can take advantage of. If you've never picked up an instrument before, i urge you to do so. The learning process is certainly laborious, but you will be amazed with what beautiful inventions of melody you can create by your own hands.
