Autotune a necessity, true because nowadays music is dead, at least pop is.
Kanye West started with innovating heavy use of autotune and now it's standard to use and it sells, hence it's used; is just a cheap effect anyone can apply it with approp hardware. It's just a prop, don't be fucking stupid, please.

Why dont people realize that its almost impossible for people like Chris and Usher to perform live without auto tune.Thats because they have to show their dancing skills as well which most other singers dont have and hence its easier for them to sing live as they are not constantly moving.
