To me it proves that you don't have to resemble or pass for caucasian to be cast in a play like Les Miz. I had compltely given up on any thought of auditioning for a role in Les Miz other than the company even though I knew deep down I wanted to. I let my race hold me back, let other people's idea's of thetre hold me back. I never thought I'd live to see the day where a black girl would be cast as Eponine. My dream.....<3 I cried when I found out...

@Weaslebeex3 ...uh, Eponine is an alto (well, mezzo, but not too different in theatre terms) so that wouldn't have prevented anyone. But I agree she is amazing! I got to see her at the papermill, she's great!
