I was expecting the same, but Joe did even better - he led the pitbull around on a leash. Outclassed her in every respect and showed himself not only a winner, but a statesman. This clip shows Biden's real skill. He lets the slam on Clinton stand and goes after Richardson, but neatly avoids embarrassing them too badly. Biden's reputation as a "gaffe machine" is greatly overblown; both this clip and the VP debate show verbal maneuvering so deft you don't realize he's done it until afterwards.

I love listening Joe talk. Talk about straight talk, nerve, and clear cut communication. One of the only politicians to tell it how it is.

Joe Biden is really the only candidate with any sort of serious resume between the major contenders. After watching Edwards, Hillary and Obama essentially say 'nothing' of substance, Biden emerged as a 'clearly in control' candidate to run this country.
