maybe anyone here knows?
I can't get my pc to work.
Keep getting blue screens. So I was thinking, with a second PRO-E came BIOS version 8.C0 but I've got a Crossfire setup. Does it matter? Do I need to put in version 7.3 or can I leave it in the 8.xx?

hi.
i have this motherboard after a bios update , i get ugly graphics and slow performance, do you know what to do?
Sorry there's one part of this tutorial that's confusing me, I get that I need to replace the thermal compound, but do I need to replace the thermal PAD as well?

@arcticridge No, the paste is replacing the pad. However, because the paste is thinner than a pad, you'll want to verify that it's making good contact with both the chip & heatsink before attaching it securely. This is done by temporarily putting the heatsink back in place by hand, and then taking it off again to make sure the paste transferred to both surfaces.
Best of luck.

Are you talking about the felt pad (large square with the center cut out)? DEFINITELY leave that pad on. It's there to make sure the heatsink doesn't short out the components around the chip.

Did you scrape off the pads from the north and south bridge before putting them back on the newly applied thermal paste?

@brazukaboi17 Yes, the existing pads were scraped off. It's important to remove the old thermal pads, otherwise you won't have any benefit & it may even be worse.
Just a reminder (though it's in the video) that once you've put on thermal paste, you'll want to make sure the paste transfers between the _____bridge/heatsink on *both* the northbridge and southbridge. Use extra on one of the chips if necessary to ensure you're getting some paste transferring to both sinks.
