ok but what if i don't have any dsi lite or dsi xl v1.3 around to upgrade my R4i ?
isn't there any other way .. maybe a ready software that i can put in the card and make it work ? my firmware is 1.4.1

@MicroLight15 Vi is much better then the V Plus - vi is futureproof - and if someone finds out the header byte that keeps the dsi in native mode... we are totally in!

May I ask how you have 1.4U firmware on a JAPANESE language DSi? I was unable to change languages on mine...?

it will, but you should update the EZ Flash if you're planning to update your DSi.
