After many months of quiet, the noisy 4 returned to play the motherland Scarborough for the local Citizen Advice Bureau fundraiser.
The Citizens Advice Bureau is a registered charity run by trained volunteers, and provides free confidential, impartial and independent advice for anyone needing help with their rights and responsibilities. This can be anything ranging from debt and money management, to employment, consumer or housing issues.
In 2010 the Scarborough bureau assisted local residents with over 17,000 issues, and helped gain over £3,000,000 worth of social security benefits for elligible clients.
Donations are vital for the bureau, and all money raised will allow the bureau to continue providing advice both in person and over the telephone. The bureau is helping more people than ever, so fund-raisers such as this are crucial for maintaining these services.
