That is fireball! It exploded. The smoke still left there. Those photo were taken by me. But I saw the explosion at the same place. That's amazing experience.

wow why do all dif meteor have different color and the shape of the tail. some are way longer than the other.

it's because the meteor may contain dif chemicals. when the chemicals burn, they give dif color.
If a meteor is large, it takes longer time to become ash and the tail becomes longer.
