  • this thing sounds mean as hell, i really like this setup, if you dont mind me asking how much did this setup run you? lookin to get a setup similar to this instead of my super 44's

  • @ROBMAYNARD131 Thanks. It does seem to sound a bit off in this video compared to all my other vids. Well the Stingers go for about $650 and the Bassani SS catted X pipe go for about $540.

  • @Suprbird I exactly know what u mean by changing to 3.73s lol I had 4.10s too it sucks. Hits red limiter faster which allow u for more acceleration and torque but it sucks bc when ur cruising on the freeway that shit sucks and u loose MPG too lol I was doing 60Mpg at 2,200 Rpms which is ridiculous haha good luck

  • @jackazz911 It's the gear ratio in the rearend of the Mustang. Like my 2001 Mustang GT came with "3.23" gears from the factory. It's a way of measuring how many times the driveshaft spins for one revolution of the tires or vice versa, don't remember exactly. 4.10's = more revolutions = more speed as you run through the gears quicker. Common gears people choose for mustangs are 3.73's and 4.10's, generally with 4.10's in automatics and 3.73's in 5 speed cars. Hope this helps!

  • @suprbird what do u mean by 4.10 and 3.73

  • nice pony dude

  • @coolguy3432 I sure hope so! haha and thanks! It's actually really simple....just have to make a shifter-extension and I'm in business!

  • @Renpolo yeah the LM2's will sound good with that x pipe. and good luck on the tranny swap!

  • @coolguy3432 to each their own. I've got a '95 Cougar 4.6 with a stock Y pipe and it's garbage lol. going to open it up with an slp catted X (modded) and slp lm2 or 1....probably 2 for the deep throaty tone. I already have a 1.6" lowering kit on lol and I'm getting ready to do my T45 swap in a week or two! so excited! anyone want to swap 3.08 gears for some 3.73's?! :D

  • @Renpolo yeah you are probably right, but ive decided to go with the magnaflow tru-x x-pipe. but that will have to be a Christmas present because im about to get a full lowering kit haha
