  • When your student transitions from triangle choke to armbar, tell him that after throwing the leg over your head, his other foot should toss over the other to finish it up, knees in as always. That adds to the pressure against the elbow when he starts to put his hips into it. But remember to ease into it, because an armbar from that position takes much less pressure to snap the elbow.

  • good points, he knows this, he was probably just being nice during the instruction.

  • where's the fcking guard pass... i want my 8 mintues back

  • the pass is in part 2, this series is primarily for chinese boxers which is why i have to spend the first 8 mins explaining the in's and out's of the closed guard first before the actual pass, since most don't have any grappling experience. take care and peace!

  • haha.. yup.. my bad, i felt so dumb when i saw part 2...

  • no problemo. i feel dumb most of the time during the day, so join the club! =D
