I'll have to read up on the Flea. They're really fascinating little aircraft. I'm trying to wrap my mind around how they can be stable in turns sans ailerons without a lot of dihedral, or have scary stall tendencies without a lot of tip washout, but seeing is believing.. They fly, and they're pretty cool. Thank you, John

No need to worry. Kapui123 is a guy we know. He tries to give the Flying Flea a bad name because he was not able to start a firm making Flying Fleas. Till now I will not give his true name as he was once a good contact of me. Sadly ...he totally turned towards hating Flying Fleas when he couldn't start his firm. Read all the comments and you will see that he has the only bad comment. And he was talking ... euh ... bullshit. No reality.

Seems that kapui123 closed his Youtube account. This was again a good example of the bad stuff we need to endure as Flying Flea fans. For REAL info about Flying Fleas by a professional designer, go see fraseraerotechnologycompanyDOT

Depends on what model you take. You have single seaters and duo seaters. I would advise you to go see the comparison table at the Pou Guide site. There are all the data on a single file.

is a citroen 2cv engine good for a flea??
archerrobinhood 3 years ago
My HM14/360 had a Citroen Visa engine. If I recall it right, that is the same engine as the 2CV. The engine made it possible to take off from concrete, but was not able to get the airplane airborne from grassfields.

ok, thanks, do you need to modify it in any way?

I guess most would make the flywheel lighter. The prop is also a kind of flywheel. But ... I cannot tell more about engines. No expert!
