It is written that Buddha said, "The permutations of Ignorance are more numerous than the sands along the Ganges". The suppression of marijuana (vitamin M) is one of those. It seems that as long as the split state of awareness prevails among humanity that the infinite power of awareness will find endless ways to ingeniously express this. It also seems that in the unified state of awareness that marijuana would be seen as a marvelous expression of Divine Grace, a many-splendored thing.
