Macedon: Karanus and the New Kingdom

The song is KAIΓOMAI- Kaigomai (I am burning) by Notis Sfakianakis (Νότης Σφακιανάκης).

Karanos (Κάρανος) was the first king of Macedon (Μακεδον). He was the son of Temenos (Τέμενος), the first Doric King of Argos, who was the son of Aristomachos (Ἀριστόμαχος), grandson of Hyllos (Ὕλλος), the son of Greek Legendary Hero, Heracles (Ἡρακλῆς).

Karanos left Argos seeking his own glory, and went to Delphi (Δελφοί), where the Oracle told him that he will find a Kingdom.

He settled in Imathia (Ημαθία) and made his capital Aegae, after going as far as Edessa. The King of Orestis (Ὀρεστίς), which is the presend day Kastoria, asked him to assist him against enemies, in exchange for more land.

I will think freely & love all! I will cherish my ability to do so and my ideas will sprot more thoughts in more places! So when Pan comes towards me I will yell from a far.... Molon Labe!

I am pretty sure that most of my ideas are Hellenic ideas but sometimes it is hard to separate the ancient Hellene from the modern Hellene! And Pan is a ancient Hellene and will be prejudice against my modern version of Hellenic ideas.... So again I am screwed and must follow my destiny regardless!
