This amazing journey begins at the bottom of the North Island, Wellington, New Zealand's capital. Travelling further North to Napier, the Art Deco capital of the world, visiting the Bay of Plenty region, Taupo, Rotorua and The Hidden Valley, experiencing amazing geothermal formations, steaming cliffs and spouting geysers. We then continue our journey to Auckland City and the surrounding area of Piha and Muriwai, the renowned surf beaches and the Gannets colony continuing our adventure up towards the top of the island, visiting numerous places of beauty on the way. Spending some time in the romantic township of Russell, once known as the "Hell Hole of the Pacific", now a place of tranquility, we also visit Waitangi, the birthplace of our nation. You will also discover some fantastic beaches on the Doubtless Bay coastline, the North Island journey ends at Cape Reinga lighthouse, the furthest point north.

The South Island journey begins at the top of the island, from the bustling Port of Picton, working our way down and visiting many interesting places such as The Abel Tasman, Nelson, Kaikoura and Christchurch, taking you on a breathtaking journey and experiencing the stunning Arthur's Pass and the glaciers. Travelling further south to places such as Queenstown and historical Dunedin, spending some time at the amazingly beautiful and tranquil Milford Sounds. Our South Island journey finishes at the remote Stuart Island - a remote New Zealand Island.

This DVD summarises the regions as you travel through, giving you a fantastic idea of what New Zealand has to offer for a wide range of tastes.

You will also learn about the climate, beach safety and the transport system. The DVD is finalized with a useful Travel Tips section to help you on your way to making an informed and pleasant journey.
