Jonas Kopp hails from Buenos Aires where he got his start at the young age of 19. After coming to our attention when Matthew Dear downloaded some of his tracks at an airport, we have been infatuated with his amazing production skills. He has recorded for Weave, 20/20 Vision and his home team Mindtrip music as well as founding Traut Muzik, a netlabel in which he curates the best techno artists from the argentine and global techno scene.


On "Cero/Flora," Jonas Kopp displays remarkable patience, heating his tracks slowly until they reach a rolling boil. Kopp's builds are his strength, and in both tracks on this Spectral single, the Argentine producer's sense of drama and pacing -- not to mention his taste for tight, anxious rhythms -- is riveting.
