As has been said a few times already. The tape got eaten when someone borrowed the tape and used it in a shitty camera, so it was difficult to salvage

Its a customer's car, not mine, I wouldn't say "a lot of money" in it, in comparison to the averages in the race car world. The quality problem is mainly due to me loaning the tape to a friend who's camera ate the tape and damaged it, unfortunately.. I am lucky to get what I did off it

@4g63Elitist the block on a 7 bolt is actually a lot stronger but the rods and crank were lightened, that's where the failure usually occurs. there are plenty of tricks to make a 7 bolt way stronger than a 6 bolt. a super strong crank and rods and a good set of bearings. that would be bullet proof.

This motor in this car is a 6 bolt as already stated, but a 7 bolt is not much weaker. 3 piece main is irrelevant. Tune goes a long way if you understand what the eventual weak point of the motor is and what makes it fail.

I wish I could find someone who can do a tune like that for my Eclipse. My motor's not totally stock, but I'd love to make power like that.
