I am sure, with the collection you have, you could have chosen among 10s of Violettas. But you chose this exceptional performance with this exceptional, professional, moving and unique singer. Thanks for sharing the art of June Anderson (not to mention Verdi of course!)

Wow I love how they did the end, with Violetta running into Alfredo's arms. I've never seen a "Traviata" end that way. Has a greater impact. On a side note, June Anderson is just perfect.

I think it's their dark timbre, but Netrebko lacks so much compared to (or even not compared to for that matter) to June Anderson.

I knew it was June Anderson from the just note. For me there's no comparison to Netrebko in terms of sound.

Now we're getting into the very BEST of Verdi: La Traviata, Il Trovatore, and Rigoletto! I wish youtube allowed videos longer than 11 minutes, but 10 minutes plus a few seconds works just fine. Nice work. We all appreciate it.
