The ScanSnap S1100 can detect paper size, from a business card to a legal sized sheet, automatically, and as you will learn from this review and video, there is a solution for larger, oversized documents as well. Featuring Lee Rickwood. Full review at "http://whatsyourtech.ca/?p=5510"

  • @blackmagix79 No, this is not the type to scan a book. Unless you're going to rip the page out, then put it in the scanner. There's portable scanners that do do that and more. One I see to the side is IRIScan Book 2, and there's another one that I have called VuPoint Magic Wand. Though, your post is 9 months old, & the technology has advanced since, & the prices have come down 2. There are so many portable scanners now, some expensive that actually read, sort & compute info

  • scan fail at 3:22.. the bottom of the image is all messed up!

  • where can I get that plastic for double size scanning? thaks

  • Do you think it can scan book?
