I shrunk an inch from the steroid treatments. Hospital stay update. I miss everyone!

Made last night, Weds, Sept 9. Hospital stay update...The steroids have caused bone loss in me now and more.. PLUS... I really miss everyone!!!

hi Amy, Exactly. The same with me, if we don't fine another treatment that works, then I am stuck with the steroids... and the dose is so high that I have to take in order to stay alive, that the steroids are gradually taking me. We have to find another treatment or I will have to decide if I want to die from steroids or from the muscle disease at some point.

Have they tried cellcept and other forms of chemo on you yet? AND, at HIGH doses so that they can lower your steroid dose?

it cut me off bleh i see the eye doctor tomorrow to rule out eye issues because i keep losing my vision..hope you get to come home soon and you get regulated again... HUGS!

I'm glad that you've been taken care of nicely by the hospital nurses and doctors. You deserve it! Thank you so much. My doctor here is AMAZING and so are the nurses... If anyone can get me through this, it's him. I'm very very blessed to have this team helping me. We're all keeping our fingers crossed and hoping it will work. Faith, that's what I'm focusing on right now... faith and hope. ;) Thank you so much again... you are always so kind to me. thank you.

i have something and the doctors don't know what it is but I'm amazed how some random quack suggest me taking some randm steroid and I'm like NO!
