Here Pip and I work on attention around multiple distractions off lead (birds, what birds?). Since I have taught her that distractions = attention, the more distractions there are, the more intense she tends to be.

This was accomplished using the games in My Smart Puppy. And yes, tug is a lot of fun IF you can control the start and the stop and your dog doesn't get overly excited.

  • Just a moment of play caught by a friend.. Pip loves this "game" so she plays it almost anywhere... devil is in the details, always, so glad these are helpful.

    This is one way to do it, there are many. Key is to be consistent.
