Iran stopped its nuclear weapons program in 2003?

That was the year of Operation Iraqi Freedom. We've been told that overthrowing Saddam Hussein made the Persian Gulf a less safe place. How amazing that this invasion coincided with such a welcome change in the mullahs' attitudes.

dont you think that the invasion of iraq would encourage any hostile regime to even try to attain the bomb faster? its the only weapon that makes a nation untouchable. and the main step in making a nuclear bomb is the enrichment process which requires thousands of centrifuges that iran is building now. irak is the only shiite dominated nation with iran so it will be a strong ally. greeting from germany. and think closely before you associate the iraq war with any policy change.

This video is directed at those wo do take the American intelligence estimate at face value. They must explain why Iran "apparently" discarded their nuke ambitions at the same time 150 000 US troops appeared on their doorstep. I have high skepticism that their nuke-seeking is over. well the argument is that why would iran need nuclear energy when they have so much oil, but in fact iran has to heavily subsidize gasoline because there isnt enough of it for the population. refineries are still from the stonge age. but then again consider other oil producers, mexico also uses nuclear power. its hard to tell them what to do, its very uniting for the people to see their president stand up for their nation.

Fine, if they want to build nuclear power plants, there is a cast-iron internationally-monitered process that they have to go through. They should announce their intent to the world and allow open inspection. THEY HAVE NOT DONE THAT!!

Concealment is utterly unexplainable, unless they are seeking bombs.

Been a year, still not a single bomb on iranian soil, there isnt going to be another war in the midle east unles iran starts it (highly doubtful) cuase Us doenst have the balls to do so

I actually remember news at the time (Shows my age)Iranian boys claiming asylum in NZ, saying they'd be given a plastic key if they went back. As sam Harris said IIRC the problem with suicide 4 allah is not the 72 virgins, but that so many of them ARE virgins.
