I simply adore watching another human being fuck up his life beyond repair. That moment, several times visible on these clips, when he reflects on an earlier time, before he got in the car, when he sees the crossroad which would take his life to hell. he wishes he could go back and it would all be different, he would still have a life with limitless horizons. But now, it's all over. he is trapped, and he has no future. His life is over. It is so beautiful to watch, I love it.

His actual intentions are quite clear, check the perverted justice logs. His sad story is just a way to try to weasel himself out of trouble, Chris Hansen didn't buy it, and neither did the authorities. He was also charged with the same crime in another county after he served time for this.

And why feel sorry for him? Maybe feel sorry for the compulsion/addiction, but like any problem, you need to learn self control and get help.
