In this http://www.artistshousemusic.org video, drummer and professor of Percussion Dafnis Prieto demonstrates a basic rhythmic element of Cuban music -- the intricate and challenging Mozambique rhythm -- and shows how this rhythm builds upon the basic conga clave.

  • La palabra "latino" es mal utilizada por los estadounidenses para calificar a todos los americanos que no hablan ingles. Los hipano hablantes no deberiais usarla al ser degradante por no diferenciar entre las diferentes culturas de centroamerica, sudamerica y el caribe, limitandose a apuntar que hablan una lengua directamente emparentada con el latin, no pareciendo esto tan relevante... En este caso, al hablar de musica de Cuba, hablariamos de caribeños (aunque otros tambien la bailan)

  • @DrummerSiddharta si.. apesarde ser cubano tiene poco feeling aunq no se necesitaser latino, cubano, venezolano o colombiano para tener sabor en este video se nota claramente q solo se necesita de una buena ritmica y mucho sentimiento para tocar
