Thom Hartmann, host of "The Thom Hartmann Program" on Air America, joins the panel on Paula Zahn to discuss John McCain's temper. (Part 1 of 2; part 2 is at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRrmxGMD2xY ) www.airamerica.com
it is interesting to see the techniques that different radio show hosts use to get their point across to people.. some use emotions because it is much easier to communicate things in an emotional and passionate way to emotional beings such as humans.. on the other hand it is much harder to get your point across to regular everyday people by explaining things logically in a cold formal manner.. i hope more critical thinking classes are being taught in our school for all of our sakes lol
He is out to make himself out to be a psuedo intellection and talk down to those who can stand up to him. He is a phony liberal who only cares about party loyalty and peddling books. When he tried to slam Cindy Sheehan, that was it as far as I was concerned. He is a schill.
Bullshit, if the guest can articulate his thoughts into an article, than they dont need to be spoon fed what to say. That is thought police. No its to make Thom look like a condasending PRICK!
The talking points are for the guests sake. Radio is a quick game, and if you want to keep up with the conversation it is beneficial to know the general structure of the conversation Thom is going to have.
The point is why does his producer need to be sending any talking points in the first place. If the author has the were with all to do the research and write the article, he certainly doesnt some producer to tell him of what points to talk about, unless it is to make Thom look bigger than he really is.
That's a ridiculous point, because, even if the producers WERE sending talking points to the guests, the guests are autonomous humans who've clearly expressed an opinion on subjects being discussed, and are free to expound or respond however they wish. If they are that easily duped by some "planted talking points", perhaps they're not worth listening to, anyways! puhlease...

McCain is a very angry person. Our hopes to regain national respect should not be in the arms of a senile and angry man.

I just don't believe that. I have listened to him for years and I need more evidence than you just saying it's so.
