Nat Irvin - "The festival is about discovering these wonderful connections"

In this "IdeaFestival Conversation," Nat Irvin describes finding unexpected connections across disciplines at the festival. For entrepreneurs, he explains, it's a valuable experience.

Teaching leadership and futures studies, Irvin is one of the drivers behind the addition of the "Thrivals" program to IdeaFestival 2010.

He is also the Strickler executive in residence and professor of management at the College of Business. His groundbreaking demographic research has created new paradigms for the future of African Americans in business and has made traditional stereotypes of black consumers obsolete.
