lol its not as good as it looks if the council stepped up its game did what they promised and actually listened to the people instead of fighting against them and did what the town needs and not what they want it to need instead of letting the industry rape what charm singleton has left then singleton wouldnt be sliding down hill,if you think muscwellbrook is bad just wait 10 years and look at singleton again haha get out while you still have a full set of teeth

Singleton is a boring town full of interstate miners, while the locals suffer, there is a lot of pubs, little accomadation, and a lot of rich and poor syndrome, their is a major lack in future planning which probably means that once the land is raped the town will die. The train to newcastle runs twice a day! Ask yourself if you can afford a $200 taxi fare if you miss the train! I had too!

oh and "plans for a new shopping facility" yeah council cancelled those plans a while back so theres now a massive piece of ugly ground fenced off right in the center of town.
instead of doing good with funding they spent $40,000 on that ugly crocked "singleton" sign
need more shops
need another post office
need to fix burtican park
need better public transport
need better police service
need better facilitys in general
need a better council!!!!
