Homemade Video Projector

Okay, this is a rough first-draft of my homemade video projector. If you want to make one yourself, Google it, or check out this vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n6n6jW0XIV0 I didn't make mine exactly like that, because each setup will be slightly different.
Used:
Apollo 8000 Overhead Projector (eBay: $25)
Phillips 15" Monitor (Goodwill: $50)
Various Cables and adapters (DiscountElectronics.com: $20)
KDE4 on OpenSuSE (opensuse.org: FREE)
Music: "Reggae" - Peter John Ross (http://sonnyboo.com/music/music.htm: FREE)
Video: Dr Who S02E01 (Find it yourself!: FREE)

Total Project Cost: $85

I still have a long way to go from here; I plan to build a better case for light and sound dampening and add a surround-sound system of some sort.

As you can see, I am projecting straight on the wall, which is off-white. I plan to use a few yards of spandex cloth for a screen, but professional screens should work much better. Then again, real projectors would work better as well ;-)

how did you connect it to the media player? Vga? Do you connect it via the lcd screen or the overhead projector?
