And I just realized that someone put up a more in depth list of the now hottest peppers on page 2. He has the NagaViper listed at #1 and the Trinidad Scorpian Butch T at #2. His list is right on the money, except I think that if you switch his #1 & #2 (which he does indicate that 1 & 2 could switch places)and it would be perfect.

Actually the ghost pepper is not the hottest pepper in the world anymore and hasn't been for like around a year. The "Naga Viper" was the hottest(hotter than the ghost pepper). Now the "Trinidad Scorpian Butch T" is hotter than the "Naga Viper". Trinidad Scorpion Butch T recorded an impressive 1.45 million heat units on the scale which is slightly above the British Naga Viper 1.38 million. The ghost pepper messures at 855,000 - 1,041,427 SHU.
