Not really it senses your breain waves to determine to turn the fan higher and lower. Being telekentic would just be using your mind with nothing else helping it

just to tssay your mind conrtolls a fan and you use the nob to move the ball side to side

you use your mind to move it vertically and the dial in front to move it from side to side
