Monkey Island 2 bug - Unwinnable situation

if you're playing with scummvm try putting it on super fast (ctrl + g i think)and wait a few seconds

@plzonlygame You mean when Guybrush is stuck at the end? I don't think fast-forwarding will make any difference.

Can this not be solved by leaving the area and returning to the map screen?

@NooNoo123 The music problem can, yes. But after you get stuck at the shack, you're stuck for good.

the same with the food of the parrot at the start of the 2nd chapter '4 map pieces'.. i think you cant get it again once you walked into cpt. dreads boat. pls answer if you can take it otherwise :P

@ToasterNiggow You can always get the parrot food if you haven't picked it up yet. Once you get it, the dialogue option "I'd like to just cruise aimlessy for a while" disappears.

You do not need the feather. You can burn something else - there are many alternatives.

I've having a problem with Monkey Island 2 Special Edition on Steam. At the end there are a few things you're supposed to do with LeChuck and one is not working. I just keep getting zapped around. And sometimes LeChuck will come in immediately when I enter a room (especially the elevator) and do this several rooms in a row, meaning I can't do anything, other times I can wait there forever (the helium tank room) and nothing happens.

what if you get back to lets say graveyard, and than back here again?

@LaukkuTheGreit Yeh it's weird but when I play on super fast, sometimes it pauses in that spot for like... 10 seconds or so? (which probably equals about 100 or 200 real time seconds). And then after that pause it lifts him up and continues normally.

@Ascyltos yes, the creators made sure that you would BUY a drink in order to win the contest, but you can drink it all up and thus get stucked in lechuck's cellar (a person would drink it all just for fun, no rational reasons included, but that's what makes an adventure worthwhile :)

@pipari44 Which you will already have got in order to win the spitting contest in order to get the brass plaque in order to get 6,000 pieces of eight in order to hire Kate Capsize in order to get the monkey head in order to swap for piece 2 of the map.

you know, there is actually a real, not glitch-based unwinnable situation. and that's when you enter the crate on that very shore, leaving for lechuck's fortress WITHOUT a drink from the bar. then you can't spit while hanging in his dungeon and you get stuck this way.

but the scabb island map music played on every place along with the other music
