Love this melody! I still whistle and hum it everyday!

...on the original CBS telecasts, in the empty space in the lower left hand corner, you would have seen the "sponsor's product" {General Foods' "Jell-O", or Lever Bros. "Swan Liquid", etc.}. Desilu's art director, Claudio Guzman, eventually became producer/director of "I DREAM OF JEANNIE" as well.

None of those two. Mostly there was no standalone logo on this show in the '70s-'80s; one episode did have a grayscale version of the first PTV "Split Rectangle" logo (no music), but I cannot help but wonder if the Blue Mountain made an appearance on this show from the mid '80s (I made a spoof of that), see here:

@ClassicTVMan1981X And PTV only got "Life with Lucy" once they bought Spelling (also known for Dynasty, 90210, Twin Peaks, 7th Heaven) in 1999.

With music to boot.

Actually, no. Paramount TV had the rights to this show even in the 1980s. One episode of this show did get out with a silent, grayscale version of the 1st Split Rectangle logo.
The only two Lucy shows Viacom had the rights to from 1971 was "I Love Lucy" and "The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour."

Not that strange - Paramount bought Desilu in 1967 and distributes most of the old Desilu shows.
