If it really was a sound guy he pushes off at 4.06, cedric bixler-zavala's simply being a complete idiot there. On the other hand, as bad as he performs on the vocals here, maybe he would have preferred not to be heard by the audience, so it does make sense in a twisted way... Don't get me wrong, I really like mars volta and this is a great song, but the vocal performance here is poor, and if I were as much of a beanpole as cedric, I'd really be cautious with playing the tough guy.

Well his vocals are a bit terrible about 75% of the performances, but I'd have to say that he makes up for it with the energy on stage.
