@07henrik With the above posted video theory in mind, can you please explain to me why after all these years the bible is still kicking around????

@frankenboston Your experience and opinions of AA are vastly different than ours, as can be clearly seen in our videos. I'm an ex-alcoholic, however you want to dance with it. That's a fact. Mike BD

@blamethenile welcome , accept it's my experience not an opinion, the program works, and its free, and a humble place, those big hospitals for the movie stars and hospitals want huge money to pamper people, which leads to more bs. detox is needed though, but the practical program of action and study is what works, for the true alcoholic, i think some folks may be ex-problem drinkers, their still social drinkers, they can back off it with will power, not the real alcoholic and addict ,its fact.
The 164 pages of the big book have been edited. The original manuscript is now published by Hazelton. Do your homework bud :)

@Hummelins I have a copy of each edition of the bigbook, including the original manuscript, and have read them all. Your point? Mike BD

@blamethenile If you have a copy of the original manuscript, then you can see that it was edited before publication. One of your tube videos says the book was never edited. That's what i was referring to. The Book That Started It All: The Original Working Manuscript of Alcoholics Anonymous, sold by Hazelton, shows all of the edited markings before it became published. My point, again, goes back to herbert spencer, "...contempt prior to investigation..."

@Hummelins We know the bigbook has been edited numerous times, so are not sure which video you are talking about. If you want to play gotcha, you should improve your game. Like many things bigbook, the Herbert Spencer quote is bogus. William Paley is the one who credible sources cite as the originator of the now-famous quote. Mike BD

I see Mr Blamethenile is still posting his videos which attempt to dis-credit Alcoholics Anonymous. Is this the same chap who claims to be an ex-alcoholic? The same chap who could not stop and stay stopped drinking by his own willpower and knowledge? The very same chap that walked through the doors of A.A because he was powerless over alcohol and used and needed A.A to stop drinking? who now see's fit to deny others that chance by posting videos dis-crediting the same fellowship which saved you!

@07henrik There are two of us who write and produce these videos, BlaMe and Mike Blamedenial. One is from the US and the other from the UK. For Mike's drinking abstinence experience, see our video "Spontaneous Remission". Hope that helps. Thanks for stopping by. Mike BD
