    I believe this was from a retrospective special shown on NBC in the Spring of '83. After four years on ABC, the show was axed and picked up by NBC for it's fifth (and final) season.

    And, I love hearing the "goodnight, Mr. Walters" line again. A fixture of my childhood. Immediately after that and the Paramount logo, Hugh Downs would appear, which meant it was 10:00, 20/20 was starting, and it was time to go to bed. Just hearing it now makes me wonder if I remembered to do my homework, lol.

    Haha. Totally know the feeling. I am a 90s kid but I used to watch this show at bed time on Nick at Night along with Bob Newhart and MTM. Great stuff. Reminds me of the bunk bed days.
