When did they do this one.? Or was this never out I watched it every day from day 1 till day 97 it ended with same never returned home al and his wife , Beth, married had 4 kids and will celebrate their 40th anniversary in June ( which was in 93)

1952? Sam was born in 1953 so he couldn't leap to 1952.

There were quite a few episodes after that. It ended with Sam meeting God/Space/Time who told him that Sam was leaping himself around in time. Sam proved it by saving Al's marriage to Beth which is where it ended.

i wiah he would have wented back in time more than just the 1900s that would have been kool but still a great and missed show

At the end of Season 5 in the original script written, Quantum Leap lost contact with Sam who had leapt beyond his own lifetime. So he could have travelled back further.
