m4000 - It works...

Finally the M4000 lives. Here you see the new instrument reaching the end of the software testing. From this video you can see that this is indeed a cycling tape replay machine, the first one to be developed for years - my small involvement was to write the software and design the controller that allows the player of the instrument to freely select a station (a station is equivalent to an old tape frame) and for the machine to go and retrieve the tapes from the reel at the front. All this without even opening the lid! More details and clips to follow nearer the official launch date...
