They're a natural phenomena that have been occuring for hundreds of years (documented). Even scientists, who congregate in the area every year, have never been able to prove otherwise.

@seandervan It's actually a natural phenomena, scientifically caused by an excessive amount of decomposing organic material that lets off flammable gases, ignited by the sun, and pulled by the moon's gravitational pull. You can look it up :) I do note your winky face, just putting it out thereeee haha. God i'd love to see this.
