Sorry but this is just wrong.
Taking a classic down from the mantle and doing it justice requires reverence.
Rewriting it, rearranging it, abusing it is wrong.
You want to be a band? Go write your own.
Nobody is ever going to recognize this as "Crossroads", no matter what you perpetrate upon it.
You should apologize.

Dan we are sorry if you are appalled by the song. It wasnt in our list to demean a classic, i think playing the classic as it is requires more reverence, and thus we had our take on it, which you are free to dislike. We take the criticism, sorry for letting you down. We didnt want anybody to recognise it as crossroads, we just did Crossroads as an entry to the song.
