Empowerment Evaluation in South Africa

This is a brief video about empowerment evaluation in South Africa. It begins with a few highlights of Dr. Fetterman's empowerment evaluation workshop and keynote presentation. It rapidly shifts gears and focuses on a local empowerment evaluation project in one of the squatter settlements, relying on traditional healers as a conduit or link to nurses in the clinic for HIV patients. The brief video also presents a local clinic and hospice providing a regime of anti-retrovirals as well. The power of the South African spirit is tremendous in spite of tremendous challenges.
