  • It never ceases to amaze me that music with such beauty, and artistry can be so undermined by a so called intelligent society :(

  • @DubbedTheUnforgiven Your right about that- however what I was referencing is the fact that Dvorak is known for his prominent use of the cello- especially in his symphonies (for example number 8 is the most famous). The other movement of this quartet also has a lovely cello solo.

And oh yeah- I play my cello four hours a day. That is why I'm so obsessed.

  • @Sahara101010 Actually, the cello part isn't that exciting (I've seen the part) but it is indeed brought out more than other pieces in his time. If you're saying that the solo in the beginning is played on the cello, it's actually played on the viola, which astonished me at first. :)

  • One of things that makes Dvorak so brilliant is that he NEVER undermines the cello. :)

  • played this over the summer, and playing it again in another quartet. I love this. and it really tells a story! great piece. I love dvorak<3

  • love love love love love love thissss!!!! pictures also fit very well! its like they were made for this brilliant piece of music.

  • @PronLuv3r69Biznitch You should probably keep that to yourself ;)

  • I could listen to this all day! Bravo(: such a beautiful piece of music. Dvorak!!!

  • i love alban berg quartet!!! <3

  • the clashing climax of the movement brings to mind my first internal joys of discovering masturbation - the overwhelming joy expressed on my face alongside with the proud manor of manhood beginning to flow through my veins.

  • best performance I've heard.
