I embarked on a similar journey from Wa to N.Y 2010. I intended on walking, but had to resort to my pathfinder instead. With my tag, a hopi swastika with swirling rainbow, petition in hand I hit the road. My journey ended much different than anticipated- definitely worth writing about.
Arriving home with shattered illusions and one arrest. Knowing it will take more than a sticker, plead my case to OBEY for help. Their response "we can not help" Now it appears they are doing something similar.
